By choosing RenoTec® Roof Coating, you not only protect your roof against harsh weather conditions but also elevate your home’s overall aesthetic appeal.
Experience a smarter, cost-effective way to maintain and enhance your property’s value and comfort.

Water is unable to adhere to your coated surfaces instead, it forms droplets that effortlessly glide away.

The high breathability rating of our products allows water and moisture to easily escape from the masonry.

Dirt simply cannot cling to your masonry, ensuring it stays clean and visually appealing.

By reducing water absorption by over 93%, our solution ensures walls stay dry, leading to significantly less heat loss.

By using water at a controlled pressure, we thoroughly cleanse the surface, ensuring every trace of moss, lichen, and algae is totally removed.

Our team gives your roof a comprehensive biocide treatment to get rid of any deep rooted organic growth. This also eradicates existing growths like moss and algae and creates a protective layer to stop a future re-growth.

After the surface is treated, our next step involves fixing any tiles that have shifted out of place and replacing your broken ones. Our team then repoints ridges and verges as necessary to restore your roof's structural strength.

Critically now, we apply a specialist primer to the roof tiles to form a robust bonding layer that ensures a secure and lasting bind between the tiles and coatings.

With advanced airless sprayers, we first apply a base coat to the tiles, followed by a second sealing coat. This two-step process ensures maximum coverage and protection for the roof, creating a weather-resistant barrier.

This restoration changes your roofs appearance and extends the lifespan to over 15 years. Your roof also adds aesthetic home value and provides long-term protection and performance.
ProPERLA® RenoTEC® wall & roof coatings have been rigorously tested and certified by the UKAS accredited testing laboratory, Lucideon (No. 0013), to give you peace of mind.
Lucideon is an independent materials testing and analysis laboratory. Using their state-of-the-art facilities and scientific expertise, Lucideon can thoroughly test product performance and provide impartial results.
These German engineered coatings have been tested for durability, thermal insulating properties, breathability and water repellency.
In 2018, ProPERLA wall coatings were independently tested by the UKAS accredited testing and analysis laboratory, Lucideon.
Lucideon’s world-leading testing and characterisation laboratories enabled them to scientifically and impartially test ProPERLA wall coatings to ensure they are fit for purpose and conform to regulations.
Specifically, the tests were conducted to;
Determine performance after 25 years of accelerated weathering – On completion of the weathering test, the bricks coated with ProPERLA showed no deterioration either in performance or aesthetic appearance. There was no evidence of cracking, delamination or irreversible deformation. The coated bricks also showed no evidence of water penetration.
Test and analyse thermal insulating properties – Bricks coated with ProPERLA were more energy efficient than uncoated ones.
Thermocouples placed on the rear face of the walls showed that during the hygrothermal rain cycle, the uncoated wall showed, on average, an increase of 6⁰C of heat loss in comparison to the coated walls.
Test and analyse breathability – The uncoated wall had a mean SD value of 0.57, the same brick substrate when coated with ProPERLA Masonry Crème and ProPERLA Facade Coating gave SD values of 0.56 and 0.60 respectively, showing they had little effect on the breathability of the brick substrate.
Test and analyse the super hydrophobic (highly water repellent) properties of the coatings –The bricks coated with ProPERLA were able to repel water and reduce absorption.
Moisture content tests revealed that the uncoated bricks showed an increase in moisture by 11.12%, whereas the bricks coated in ProPERLA Masonry Crème only showed an increase of 0.41% and 0.74% for PropERLA Facade Coating.
This equates to reduced water absorption of 96.3%. for ProPERLA Masonry Crème and 93.4% for ProPERLA Facade Coating.
To determine the long term performance of ProPERLA roof coatings, the test roof frame was subjected to accelerated weathering correlating to 25 years exposure.
Placed within a hygrothermal chamber, the test roof panel was subjected to repeated heat-rain cycles followed by heat-cold cycles at controlled humidity to simulate naturally occurring conditions.
On completion of the weathering test, the test sample showed no evidence of deterioration such as cracking, delamination or water penetration, demonstrating a 25 year performance of both RENOTEC Roof Coating & ProPERLA Water Repellent.
In the water impermeability test, weathering had no adverse effects with the samples. which remained impervious to water after the 25 year weathering cycles.
The breathability of treated tiles was also found to be consistent with untreated tiles during the water vapor permeability test.

RENOTEC®’s patented microFORMULA® technology offers comprehensive protection for roof tiles. It effectively seals the tiles, guarding against moisture and inclement weather. This technology also shields tiles from UV rays and temperature fluctuations, preventing fading, cracking, and wear. Additionally, it inhibits the growth of moss and algae, maintaining the roof’s appearance and integrity. Overall, this technology extends the roof’s lifespan by protecting it from various environmental factors.
RENOTEC® paint is designed to maintain the natural breathability of roof tiles. It underwent water vapor permeability tests as per BS EN ISO 7783:2011 standards, which confirmed that the paint does not impede the diffusion of water vapor through the tiles. This ensures that the tiles retain their ability to “breathe” even after being painted.
RENOTEC® facilitates the natural release of water from tiles. It allows water molecules, which are naturally attracted to the tile, to pass through and be released into the air. This prevents moisture from becoming trapped in the tiles, ensuring their integrity and longevity.
Yes, Renotec roof coatings are available in a variety of colours. Available colours include Anthracite, Black, Blue, Rustic Red, Brown, Green, and Dark Brown. Additionally, there are colours like Tile Red, Red Brown, and Rustic Red mentioned, indicating a wide range of options to choose from. This variety allows for customisation according to different aesthetic preferences and architectural styles. Renotec’s coatings are described as super-hydrophobic and coloured, designed not only to enhance the appearance of a roof but also to improve its resistance to weather and extend the lifespan of the roof tiles.
Renotec roof coating is known for its durability, with a 25-year life expectancy. Additionally, it comes with a 10-year manufacturer’s guarantee. This long-lasting performance is attributed to its advanced formulation, which not only ensures the roof’s aesthetic appeal but also enhances its resistance to environmental factors like UV rays and moisture.
Renotec roof coatings are suitable for all mineral roof tiles, including marley concrete, clay, terracotta, and fibro cement. However, for dense tiles such as Rosemary and slate, the use of Renotec Primer is necessary. The Renotec Primer is a special water-based primer with a solidifying effect and high penetration depth, suitable only for porous surfaces.
